Our friend Adrian

It is with great sadness and shock that we learned of the passing of Adrian Roper at the weekend. On behalf of the Northampton Table Tennis League, we wish to pass on our condolences and thoughts to his family. There have been many lovely messages being posted around the TT Community, a reminder of the respect he engendered in those whose lives he had touched, as a player, coach or friend.

Adrian will be sadly missed by all his friends in Northampton and the wider Table Tennis community. He was a very good player, an active coach with the Northants County Cadet /Junior Squads and a Club coach at Highfield TTC in Wellingborough.

He had a passion for our sport which he was able to bring to his coaching, not just his encouragement to Juniors, but his technical knowledge about equipment, mindset and strategy.

A true gentleman, RIP Adrian.
